Waipoua Forest– This nature sanctuary is not only one of the largest remaining kauri forests in the world, it’s also home to two of largest and oldest living kauri trees: Tane Mahuta and Te Matua Ngahere! These two trees, estimated to be over 2000 years old, are religious and cultural symbols of the Maori people.
Kawiti Glow Worm Caves– Ever wondered what a galaxy looks like? The light from the glow worms inside this cave might give you a pretty good idea. Many visitors equate looking up at the cave roof to the night sky on a clear night. The 200m-long cave system with stalactites and karst formations is a must see for any avid hiker!
Great Sandy National Park– This nature reserve has everything you’re looking for–untouched beaches, sand dunes, mangrove forests, lakes, and creeks! Most importantly, you’ll be able to visit the world’s largest sand island –Fraser Island–and take a walk along the famous 75 Mile Beach.

Sydney Tower– Not for those afraid of heights–Sydney’s tallest structure and the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere stands at 1000ft. Take in the view from the top and experience Australia like you never have before.
