Cultural Facts and Photos: Camels aren’t Just for Hump Day

Zach Michonski | July 30, 2014

Camel in Morocco

Camels don’t only represent funny commercials and the halfway point of our work week. In Arab cultures, the camel symbolizes patience, tolerance and endurance. Many teachers and students traveling to Spain with EF Educational Tours take advantage of our full-day excursion to Morocco. Adventuring across the Strait of Gibraltar, they experience a new culture full of camels, snake charmers, and bustling street markets.

Share your travel photos with us on Instagram for a chance to be featured in our new Equator series, Cultural Facts and Photos.
